warning! warning! cute hat photos to follow...

we're pretty silly.  :)    but if i do say so myself, how cute am i in that first picture??  it's amazing that momma hasn't actually eaten me already.  i have to watch my back pretty closely.  :)    anyway, things are moving along pretty swimmingly!  we had fall weather for i think two days in a row last week and now it's just hot again.  but we're enjoying it as best we can while trying to avoid west nile from the mosquitos.  here's me in the swing - yea!

and the two big boys looking like a photo from the 1960's with maximum cheesy smile from luke and horrible knees from ben.  you might not think the knees are that big of a deal because dirt can be washed off and boys just get dirty knees, but unfortunately this is now what ben's knees look like all the time!  he actually has pretty hair legs and his knees are so dirty that it won't even come off anymore.  momma must have skipped class on the day they covered knee-washing in mommy school...

and now some better ones of luke, just generally looking cute playing outside...

and now me back in the highchair - whoa!  i sat in here for the first time a couple weeks ago and i'm diggin' it!  

momma also tried feeding me my first meal of food, and just like my other two brothers i gave her some faces like she had lost her mind trying to feed me that stuff!  i am not ready for solids yet, and this is what i think of the very idea of her trying them on me...

this is kind of a random picture but we're including it because i'm wearing an outfit that ashley holloway gave to ben as a baby!  cute!!  let's see if she remembers and is actually reading the blog...  :)

moving on, these last ones are of the big boys playing with some cute toys outside.  momma painted the cars and peg people and the boys have been playing with those for a few weeks.  and then beamee recently (and randomly!) sent a package with little wooden chairs, a table and an umbrella (fun!) - and they work perfectly with the set and beamee didn't even know that!  cool! 

so we're having lots of fun playing outside still and are really itchin' for fall to come.  i'm officially sitting up now - as of two days ago - woohoo!!!  and i'll post some pictures of that soon, plus some of our recent trip to the zoo - yea!  lots of fun things are happening because we had our zoo trip and then next weekend mimsie and grandpa will get to come!!  and then the next weekend beamee and grampee will get to come!!  life is good.  see you next time.  :)
