family photos...

ahhh, aren't we so cute? :) the big lehman family had portraits taken during our trip to san antonio a few weeks ago, and here are some of the results! there are more at the end of the blog and online at our picasa albums. just wanted to share... :)

so coolest thing - the neighbors across the street are having work done in their backyard, so mommy and i have been going outside lots and lots to watch all the construction trucks come and go! there are dump trucks, front loaders, cement trucks - it's awesome! here's me staring in awe as the truck rumbles along...

there's not a lot of action on the streets of the 'burbs (counting the number of minivans that drive by is only exciting for so long), so this has been really great to keep me occupied throughout the day. mommy pulls out the lawn chair, snacks, and toys, and we pretty much hang out in the driveway and watch. :) totally cool.

here i am playing in the mulch bed in our front yard. that's a lot of fun too...

it's been getting really hot here already (90s everyday) so we play outside in the mornings and then sometimes later in the afternoon while we wait for daddy to come home. but when it's super hot, we try to stay inside... and that usually leads to trouble... here i am getting into some things in mommy and daddy's bathroom... toilet paper sure is fun!!

and i have discovered the simple joy of flushing the toilet... over and over and over again... i even figured out to flush it and then go play with some toilet paper until it stops running, and then i immediately get up to flush it again...

mommy thought this was hilarious the first few times, but its humor seems to be fading a bit and i'm only really allowed to do it once in a while now...

last weekend we went to a wedding in houston where i was a very good boy and got to stay up until 11:00pm and eat cake at the reception - yum! on the way home, we stopped at the ranch in giddings to play with wyatt and gracie and see uncle larry and aunt rox. here i am on the tricycle... look mom, no eyes!

other things... i really, really love milk. here i am a little perturbed that mommy is trying to interrupt my milk drinking by making it into a photo shoot...

but then i decided to give her at least one cute shot. pay no attention to my pants, which could possibly be confused for capris, but are clearly not since those are for girls. all my shorts were dirty and so mom had to roll up my jeans for outdoor play...

i love pickles and strawberries, but not watermelon, which is very sad to mommy because that's one of her favorite foods. i'm wearing size 6 shoes now - whoa! i've started to throw a few temper tantrums, which mommy and daddy were not prepared for this early - yikes! i'm just testing out my independence, though, and don't mean to be a toot on purpose... i'm still pretty good most of the time and can usually at least be appeased by being picked up and comforted, or given food. :)

okay, that's enough for now. i think a digger just pulled up across the street so i better get outside and see what's going on. here are some more of those pictures from san antonio... bye!
