... or i should say, great for me, not so great for mommy. turns out she misses me a whole lot... even though i visit mommy and daddy's house for meals and stuff like that, she's having a hard enough time dealing with me growing up so fast and wasn't quite ready for me to move out of the house just yet. so the other day she came out to visit and used her cunning mommy ways to lure me back home... first she was asking me about buggies (which i say "yuck" to, because that's what she always says). i don't mind buggies too much, because i'm a boy, but she told me about some little buggies that could crawl up my nose in the night... ew...
and then she warned me of some yucky spiders that might crawl in my ears and lay eggs! yikes - i don't like the sound of that!
finally, she warned me of huge, scary monsters that hunt suburban backyards for little boys. apparently these monsters (known as "suburban-foot") go bump in the night and scoop up any little boys they find and take them to faraway places (like east texas) where there are no toy cars, no cookies, and no mommies. the very thought of it was too much for me to bear!!
i begged mommy to let me move back in with her and daddy right away! she drove a hard bargain, though, and made me pinky swear to never try to move out or even run away until i was 45 years old. i finally got her down to 18, but she wasn't happy about it.
after that, we played with water and buckets, and everything was happy again...
i got really wet...
and ran around with my shirt off...
now that we're all back together in the same house again, life is even better! i have to admit that i like being indoors more than i remembered. one of my favorite places to play is behind mommy and daddy's bed! it's angled out from the corner, so i can squeeze through the little spot between the bed and the wall, and i just play back there for fun. (luckily daddy plugged up the sockets before they moved the bed! he's so smart.)
i also really enjoy playing under mommy's bathroom cabinet. daddy did install cabinet locks on those, but they weren't really that sturdy, so i just broke the hinge off.
i don't know why he wanted to keep me out of there anyway - it's full of lots of fun toys!! i'm not sure this shade of nail polish is really my color though...
here's me and mommy playing "peek"...
sometimes a guy just needs his privacy...
other things going on... i can say (or try to say): thank you, muffin, milk, and amen. :) i have already had to get another new pair of sneakers because i outgrew my first pair! i'm a size 6 now - yikes! i am doing a little better eating again, and i could eat grapes and pineapple all day, every day. i also really enjoy ice cream. aunt chris came to visit the other day, and we met up with her and the dwights for dinner and dessert. i sure do like that aunt chris!
but even i, apparently, have a limit on the amount of ice cream i can eat in one sitting! sometimes our eyes are bigger than our stomachs - ugh! (if you click on the picture, it will get bigger and you can really see the look on my face!)
other things i love lately include: playing with tupperware and lids, reading books to myself, playing with little toy cars, talking on the play phone, saying "buh bye", waving to all kinds of things - living, stuffed, inanimate, doesn't matter!, learning how to share instead of always grabbing toys from other kids (although have not mastered this yet), playing with the trains at barnes and noble, being fed smoothies from the bottom of a straw (aunt aimee's technique), missing my relatives, and lots more stuff.
i have to go now. mommy and i have some catching up to do, now that i'm back home. :) but i will still visit my old house just to play and get a change of scenery now and then (just not at night - too scarrrrry!!). okay bye!
