back at home i've been busy with my usual silliness too... i still fit in this little box and was having fun tipping myself over in it one day last week...
and i still enjoy drawing on the chalkboard wall... mom gets out the crayons and colored pencils for me occassionally, but i'm not that interested in drawing on paper yet. it's fun for a few minutes but not as fun as cars and blocks and trains...
i had my first doughnut the other day in the grocery store! mom is a sucker for a cream-filled and decided it would be a fun treat to share one with me while we were shopping. yum! you can see that i actually stayed pretty clean - i didn't want to let any doughnut goodness go to waste on my face or clothes!
here i am with a sticker on my face. i get these from the grocery store too (we go there a lot, as you can tell!) and get a big kick out of putting them on my face. i was laughing a lot before mom got out the camera, but lately i've been playing it cool for pictures instead of cracking my usual big grin... mom will have to be more sneaky...
here's me this morning in my pajamas that i wore to bed last night. you may notice that the shirt is a size-too-small plaid button-down. i've been getting quite particular about what clothes i wear sometimes, and last night i absolutely had to be wearing a button-down shirt for bed. mom encouraged me to re-think my decision and opt for the nice, comfy, cotton shirt instead, but i would not be moved. and so, that's how i slept and awoke looking quite cute indeed! :)
later this morning we went to the park, where i got to practice more of my swinging! i've been bummed that my classes at the little gym are over, but luckily there are two bars like this on the playground that are just perfect for toddler swinging!

here's me with my "nature ball." i love these little things! we're not sure what they're actually called, but they fall from trees and are all over the ground right now. i love to find them and carry them around with me, so we just call them nature balls...

other news is that i'm getting so much better at pronouncing some of my words. i say a lot of words but, up until now, didn't really do the best job of enunciating them. but just a few days ago i started getting a lot better! i now say "home" instead of "huh" and "book" instead of "buh" and "rock" instead of "ruh"... you get the picture! i've also said almost a perfect version of "magazine" several times and am pretty good at "breakable" too. :) other faves are wagon, milk, and antidisestablishmentarianism. okay, not really that last one...
the next big thing coming up is that in two days we're going on a road trip to indiana for a wedding! i'm getting pretty excited about this, and we're planning some fun stops along the way, so hopefully i'll have good things to report on when we get back next week. i'm super excited to see beamee and grampee! and hopefully we'll get to see mimsie and grandpa really soon after we get back too. until next time, so long!!
