i can wink!!

i try to save my best winks for momma (i'm not very touchy-feely affectionate, which is sometimes hard for her, and she loves it when i do something like a wink as i sign of love instead), but i sure did have fun showing off my winks last weekend when beamee, grandma suever, and aunts ginny, chris, and debbie were around. you might notice the gash on my cheek, which not coincidentally resembles the corner of a table. like a metal-edged slide-out table used at the gap for folding shirts. not cool. after i stopped screaming and wailing, i took it like a man. i showed that table who's boss...

i'm having a great time with my letters of the day and different themes each week. this week we're on musical instruments, but i really liked the penguin day (two weeks ago now, yikes!) and did this fun puzzle that momma made. you can't really tell much in the picture, but we thought it would be nice to include since i'm standing nicely with a good smile on. and again with the long-sleeved moose shirt, still not weather-appropriate but i do love that moose... and orange...

i realize this is a family blog. maybe a picture in daddy's boxers isn't appropriate. since i'm the one wearing them and not daddy, momma thought that it was okay. much better than, say, momma skyping with SELT while an unknowing daddy is actually wearing his boxers in the background. whoops. anyway, i digress. sometimes when i miss daddy a lot during the day, i wear his clothes around and do things that he likes to do... pretty cute...

i'm actually not grumpy in real life, i just smile on my own terms if you know what i mean. luke, on the other hand, just smiles. usually. and always when he's on the swings.
